Timberline Building today.

Timberline Buildings is an Amish owned and family operated business based in Hegins, PA. Established in 2003 as a general contractor, Timberline offered a wide range of construction services such as decks, roofing, siding, and pole buildings. As the business became established we recognized exciting opportunities for growth in the pole building sector. Pole buildings are a cost-effective storage solution, with savings up to 30% compared to stick-frame construction. What started out as a 3 man crew in 2003 has evolved into one of Pennsylvania's premier post-frame construction companies with over 15 years of experience. We are now a team of 20+ employees all dedicated to post-frame. Our primary service area includes all of Pennsylvania.

🔧 Model 145 | 40′ × 60′ Commercial Auto Repair Shop

Customers shouldn’t have to wait beside a vehicle being repaired—and technicians shouldn’t have to stop working every time the phone rings.

Model 145 separates the customer side of the business from the active service area while keeping everything conveniently under one roof. At the front, 560 square feet of retail and office space provides a dedicated place to greet customers, discuss repairs, answer calls, and handle paperwork. Behind it, three service bays give technicians room to work without customer traffic interrupting the shop.

That separation can make a noticeable difference during a busy day. Customers have a more comfortable and professional place to wait, while the service team can stay focused on the vehicles moving through the shop. Insulation and steel wall and ceiling liner also help create a cleaner, more finished work environment suited to year-round operations.

Perfect for:
• Independent auto repair shops
• Tire and inspection businesses
• Small fleet maintenance facilities
• Established mechanics opening a dedicated location

For an automotive business, the right building isn’t just about fitting vehicles inside. It’s about creating a better experience for the people on both sides of the service counter.

Timberline Buildings proudly serves businesses throughout Pennsylvania. Explore the complete details and customize Model 145 to fit your property and workflow.

🚜 Model 314 | 50×96 Agricultural Pole Building

Every farm needs more than storage — it needs room to actually work.

At 4,800 square feet, this building isn't sized for a single tractor and some hand tools. With a 16'x14' split sliding door and a 14'x14' flush steel door with an opener, it's built to move large equipment, trucks, and trailers in and out without a second thought — no tight squeezes, no rearranging half the barn just to pull one thing out.

That kind of access changes how a workday actually goes. Equipment stays protected from weather and out of the elements between uses, which means less wear, fewer repairs, and machinery that's ready to go when you need it. The extra height gives you room for taller equipment or a loft for additional storage down the road.

Whether it's replacing a maxed-out equipment shed or giving a growing operation the space it's outgrown, this building is built to keep up with the work — not slow it down.

Perfect for:

Farm equipment and machinery storage
Trucks, trailers, and large vehicles
Growing agricultural operations
Commercial equipment storage
Properties needing high-clearance access

Timberline proudly serves farms and property owners throughout Pennsylvania.

Planning a loft for your pole barn? Here's the decision that gets skipped more than any other — and it's not the size.

It's not really about how much weight the loft holds. It's about how that weight behaves. Hay bales sit still. An office loft has people, furniture, a rolling chair getting shoved into a corner. Those load a floor completely differently — even at the same total weight.

We break down what actually drives loft design: intended use, ledger vs. post-supported framing, why headroom (not floor strength) is usually the real constraint, and how to plan stairs before the floor plan locks you in.

If a loft's on your radar — even a "maybe someday" — this is worth five minutes. 👇

Planning a pole barn loft? See how intended use, structural loads, framing, headroom, and stair placement shape a loft that works for your building now and in the future.

🏡 Model 105 | A Clean Two-Car Pole Barn Garage
Some garages just look right.

This 24×24 two-car garage went up on a residential property and immediately looked like it had always been there. White steel siding, a warm Brown roof, two insulated doors — nothing flashy, just clean proportions and solid Amish craftsmanship.

576 square feet. Two bays. Built to last.

If you've been thinking about adding a detached garage to your property, this one is a good place to start.

🏡 Model 119 | 30×40 Residential Pole Building with Three-Car Garage

Not every garage needs to shout for attention.

This 30×40 building takes a different approach — three matching garage doors, a centered entry, and a crisp Bone White and Black exterior that looks put-together from day one instead of "added on later." It's the kind of design that works quietly in the background, giving you space for vehicles, tools, and equipment without competing with your home for attention.

For homeowners juggling cars, a truck, a boat, or a growing collection of "stuff that doesn't fit in the house anymore," having three dedicated bays changes the daily routine. No more shuffling vehicles around in the driveway or losing half a stall to bikes and lawn equipment — everything gets its own place.

The symmetry and proportions here are what give it staying power. It's not trying to be trendy; it's built to look right on a country property for decades.

Perfect for:
Multi-vehicle families
Estate and acreage properties
Collector or classic car storage
Equipment and tool organization
Country and rural homes
