Design's done on this one and I'm a little obsessed. Dark cabinets, marble waterfall island, light everywhere. This is what we do — design and build, start to finish. If you've got a project in mind, let's talk: handhammerdev.com

This is what happens when design and construction work as one team from day one.

No miscommunication between the architect and the contractor. No surprises at the end. Just a finished space that actually looks like what you envisioned.

We handle everything — design, permits, and construction — under one roof. Bay Area and Sacramento.

This space was designed to function as a complete living area, with natural light, efficient layout, and built-in storage. The goal was to make it feel comfortable without overbuilding the footprint.

Projects like this require coordination between layout planning, structural work, and finish selection from the start.

Adding space should feel intentional, not improvised.

An ADU can create additional living space or rental income, but success depends on proper planning, permitting, and ex*****on.

At Hand + Hammer Design + Build, we handle each stage under one team so the process stays organized and efficient.

San Francisco homes are some of the most beautiful in the country. They're also some of the leakiest. 🌁🌧️

Older Victorians, Edwardians, and mid-century builds were never designed for today's energy standards. Cold drafts, moisture in the walls, heating bills that don't make sense — it's not bad luck. It's building science.

We work in the Bay Area and we know these homes. We also know how to make them perform the way they should.
