Hurricane Helene Clean up Lake Lure…
My husband, Dale Shields and our two sons and their crew, along with a couple other companies were the first on this job.
They have been working long hours tirelessly since Saturday morning, cleaning up the damage from this horrific storm.
I am so very proud and would never expect anything less. This has been a speedy and excellent effort of my husbands management, coordination and hard work from him and from all these men.
There have been many more to come into the team. This town has truly been blessed with love and support from so many. Also the volunteers that cook and feed these men that are working. We are eternally grateful. The supplies donated from the locals and people from a far that are calling me getting directions and bringing them in this time to help everyone in need is truly overwhelming and so appreciated. Our cup is surely running over.
When you look at the news and see all the other areas surrounding us, there is no where that is being shown that has such a successful restoration efforts. There is still some work to be done but Lake Lure has amazing results at this point, in only five days.
Thanks to all the men that have came in and worked so hard, pulled together to make this progress happen. Everyone that sees it is amazed how quickly they have got so much work done.
My husband loves this town, it has been a source of income, so many good times and memories for our family for almost 30 years. We feel so blessed to be a part of this community..
May everyone that has put their heart and soul into helping the town and all the people that so desperately need it be blessed greatly.
Please continue prayers for all those still in so much need. There are so many that need help and prayers.
