Couple more projects from over the winter all in the same house. We put in tongue&groove up the staircase wall then installed handrail going up the stairs and around the hole upstairs.
We also installed a basement door to keep more air out and for better usability and fixed some structural issues that were going on in the basement. Got a couple before pictures of the laminated beam’s that were rolling out and coming apart but forgot to get after pictures.

Not quite your everyday project here!

Might be Hard to tell in pictures but walls were being pushed/ bowed out in different places considerably, corners where rotting off, parts of the box sill had to be replaced and one corner of the cabin has settled quite a bit.

So far we got it jacked up, built in a couple walls in place and notched in 2x8’s to hold the wall back closer where it oughta be, put windows back in and a new sliding glass door and got started on some of the sheeting!

Plenty more to do before it’s complete, but pretty happy with what we’ve accomplished so far!

Stay tuned to see the rest of the project and metal log cabin siding we’re going back with!

Praise God! 🙌 He is the only way I got this one wrapped up this morning solo with 2x10 joist and black rebar handrail all the way around! Took a week plus a few hrs this morning and it Turned out awesome for some great friends in Missouri!
