Thank you Tim Porter for your continued business with Knox loam and gravel over the years!

Little pond expansion we did the last couple days, Rototilled the top soil to reuse after, there was a wet area that made it a Pain to mow so we extended the pond that my father originally dug to. Put the dirt into a low area on the lawn covered with soil Hay and seeded. Also added rip rap onto the banks. And sloped lawn side to be able to mow!

I get a lot of questions “will screened gravel even pack?” We hauled a bunch of 3” screened to dixfield to fill in a 100’ x 50’ area put it in 12-16” deep and we were able to back the trucks (70k lbs) on the fresh material as we filled it in. The little bit of rain we got last Thursday night made it set up and it is now solid.

Today marks 2 years since I have taken the reins and carried on the family business it’s been a wild ride with plenty of ups and downs but I wouldn’t trade it for anything and I can honestly say I love what I do! I have learned a lot since June 22,2024 and I learn every day

Now I know you can’t sell gravel if you don’t have it, so this spring I made a plenty of gravel, sand, stone, and loam ready for any of your projects and I’ve set myself up so we can keep up with the piles as we sell them!
