UPGRADE YOUR EXISTING AUTOMATION SYSTEM, WITHOUT REPLACING IT 😎

Today we installed a Intellicenter upgrade kit for one of our customers, bringing their existing pool system up to date with today’s technology.

You may not know this, but replacing your outdated control panel doesn’t always mean the entire system has to be replaced. In many cases, we can upgrade the existing panel, allowing you to enjoy newer technology, improved functionality, and modern controls, while saving money compared to a complete replacement.

✅ Modernize your existing pool equipment
✅ Take advantage of updated technology
✅ Improve control and convenience
✅ Save money by upgrading instead of replacing

If your pool automation or control system is starting to feel outdated, there may be a more affordable upgrade option available

*certain systems still need to be completely replaced unfortunately*

Contact us over at Acqua Bella Pools to see what upgrade options are available for your system 🌊

These past 60 days with no rain has really been causing issues with leaks and structural issues on a lot of customers pools lately, so here are a few repairs we knocked out within the past week!

Suction manifold cracked at the coupling right in the ground, so we got the manifold rebuilt 💪

Skimmer cracked right at the 90° elbow, so we got it replaced 🧱

And the ground pulled away from a customers sheer descent so bad, it actually snapped the 90° elbow, and pulled the pipe away about an inch and a half 🥴

One important tip: buy soaker hoses and soak the area around your pool, like you would the foundation of your home. It definitely helps mitigate any plumbing issues.

This pool was well on its way to being completely taken over by algae when we arrived. Green buildup had started spreading throughout the pool, spa, steps, and walls, but we were able to get it turned around 💎

We came in, gave the pool a thorough cleaning, brushed and removed the algae, treated the water, balanced the chemicals, and made sure we completely killed off the algae instead of just making the water look better.

The end result? Clean, clear, blue water and a pool that’s ready to be enjoyed again 🤝

A green pool can get out of hand quickly, especially in the Texas heat. If your pool is starting to turn green, getting cloudy, or just isn’t looking the way it should, don’t wait until it becomes a bigger problem, because algae doesn’t just look bad, it can actually make you sick under certain situations 😷

An accident waiting to happen…or so it was 😮‍💨

Customer called, letting us know that they had a loose stone on the spa, and were afraid one of their kids was going to step too close to the edge and fall in, along with the stone.

The team got out there the next day to re-set the stone on the spa, ensuring such a thing wouldn’t happen 🤝

Low water levels due to leaks and evaporation, can cause big issues in the long run. This causes pumps to run hot which can damage components inside of the pump, and if left running for prolonged period of time, can warp and mess up plumbing and valves.

Customer called us out on Sunday saying his pool wasn’t circulating, and sure enough, the pump had been running hot due to low water levels for such a long period of time, that the water inside of the pump basket was literally boiling hot!

We came out, replaced the suction and discharge manifold along with all of the valves and now they’re back up and running! 🤝

If you suspect a leak, please take the appropriate steps to correct any issues, because it might end up costing you more in the long run! Your pockets and water bill, will thank you in the long run 👍

And make sure to keep an eye on water levels throughout the hottest part of the year! Filling your pool up once or twice a week is okay, but anything more than that, you might want to get it checked out 🫡

💦 Just because your pool LOOKS clean doesn’t mean your filter is clean!

Your pool filter is constantly working behind the scenes, catching dirt, debris, oils, and other contaminants that you may never see floating in the water.

Over time, all of that buildup can restrict water flow and make your system work harder than it should. And sometimes, while the pool still looks crystal clear, your filter is practically screaming to be cleaned! 😅

Keeping your filters cleaned at the proper intervals helps:

✅ Maintain proper filtration and water circulation
✅ Reduce unnecessary strain on your pool equipment
✅ Keep your water cleaner and clearer
✅ Extend the lifespan of the filter media inside
✅ Help prevent bigger and more expensive issues down the road

Don’t wait until your pressure is through the roof, your circulation drops, or your water starts giving you problems.

Get your filters cleaned BEFORE the issues arise!

A little preventative maintenance can go a long way toward keeping your pool healthy and your equipment running efficiently. 💙🏊‍♂️

Need your filters cleaned? Give us a call and we’ll get your pool taken care of!

How something as simple as upgrading your filter, can make such a huge difference to your pool! 🌊

We had a customer reach out a while back letting us know that he was having recurring algae issues in his pool. We went out and immediately noticed that the filter being used was too small. We explained to the customer how the filter being used was too small for the pool, and that upgrading would solve all of their issues.

Customer agreed and got the filter upgraded, and now they're able to enjoy a beautiful crystal clear pool without having to worry about anymore algae! 🦠

The filter was able to clear the pool up in a little under 24hrs!!! 😎

If you, or someone you know is having issues with their pool, give us a call or shoot us a text. We’d love to get you taken care of! ⚜️

Almost 40yrs since this manifold has had any work done to it! 😮‍💨

Customer reached out to us last week stating that their backyard was flooding. What started out as a simple booster pump hose replacement, turned into a complete suction and discharge manifold replumb.

The suction air leak was so bad, that the system couldn’t prime up, no matter what valve was turned off or opened up.

Came back out today and replaced all valves, plumbing and did a high temp union upgrade for the pump, and now the system is air free and operational 👍

Whether it’s maintenance, remodels or repair, we got you covered 🫡
