Here is a manually prepped schluter shower systems shower! Custom niche built in for them big Costco bottles and whatever else! Perfectly square, perfectly sloped, just a complete quality shower 🚿! In these smaller showers it's so important to waterproof the entire enclosure including every corner! They will not have anymore water issues in the future! Stay tuned for the flood test!

And here is the shower pan area folks! Concrete was poured, dried, cleaned, primed, and now there is the self leveling. The ring around the pipe is to add for the depth of the drain fl**ge that I'll be installing. We are now into the shower pan, curb, and waterproofing installation! Sometimes the hardest part of this trade is waiting for all the dry times. But, ya can't rush quality! Needs to ALWAYS be done correctly!

Next we wait for the dry time, and then we will use a concrete primer application to prep for the self leveling process!...

As you can see what it was before, yes I know, the pan was done completely wrong! Don't just grin and Barrett guy's, give Barretts custom tile A CALL TODAY! MAKE SURE IT'S DONE RIGHT!

Major issue with the drain, was not set plum and the prior installation was set to the actual mud pack and tile with concrete! Wow! Had to take out the entire installation and do it the right way!

Here is what we found at the base of the framework was also not installed properly or to code! Wow! Did not use treated ...

Here is what we found at the base of the framework was also not installed properly or to code! Wow! Did not use treated wood, did not ram-set/shoot the stud into concrete/substrate and the installers negligence on this install was to work around it and not address it. It is floating and full of wood rot! Complete failure here! Has to come out and be done properly. Always need to think about any type of home that may be a flip. Fortunately, there are great contractors out here like myself that truly care about their installations! I treat every home as if it is my own.

Always quality, Always precision, when it comes to demo, I make sure i inspect every inch of the precious installation. Wherever water sits, bacteria will grow! Have to be thorough with all demo/prior installation inspections! This is a complete installation and waterproofing failure! Let's see what else we find!

Gotta love this beautiful backsplash in downtown Salt Lake City! Notice the format with them little tiles perfectly done to wrap the window and to the outside edge of the counter top! Also picture framed the window in with a quadec schluter trim!
