This past summer I w**ded, pruned and planted flowers at a busy restaurant in Rouses Point, Angelo’s. I should have taken more pics as there was hours of w**ding that had been done to get this pretty end result! It sure made me proud to help the owners make a beautiful first impression for their customers. On a side note, I love being able to ride bike to work if all my tools are able to fit in a basket!

Deck staining that was done at Casa Capitano in Rouses Point, NY this past fall. It has been an honor to be their back-up employee as a server these past few years and then last year being able to polish the first impressions of the place as cruise into the parking lot. Many hours of w**ding, pruning and staining were put in! The owners truly have a dedicated and charismatic nature to them and as evidently seen each time I step foot into the restaurant and watch them work, interact with their customers. The entrees are all cooked/baked in house by the owners. They set the standards high on how a restaurant should be operated, with heart and soul! I have yet to find an Italian restaurant even close to comparison to Casa Capitano when it comes to flavor and service! If you have not made a trip to visit them I highly recommend doing so, even if it means a long road trip!

Today’s project in mid 80s heat…….. pulling out w**d and grass, laying down fabric, digging holes then planting raspberry bushes! The lady is a gem and enjoys gardening as it is her way of exercising! I look forward to getting to know her gardens and herself as well!

Diana’s garden….. I have always loved it for how colorful it gets in the summer due to the variety of plants but it is large asks therefore w**ds like to grow in abundance! Still work to be done but her and I have made a nice dent! Diana happens to be the owner of Parker’s Lodge which is such a serene place to stay…… currently for sale too as her and her husband are ready for the next chapter of their life! Two individuals that truly care about their customers….. real life version of Care Bears! I am grateful to call them good friends of mine.

Before and after pictures of a resident’s house on Lake Champlain in Vermont. This bed had not been touched in 6 years and the owner and I were able to make it look groomed in one afternoon! I adored his brick idea for edging. The bricks were left on the property when he bought the place so may as well keep them for character!
