Three upgrades that let the roof respond on its own:

1. Somfy integration — control the louvers from the Somfy app on iOS or Android, or by voice through Alexa or Google Home.
2. Rain sensor — louvers close automatically when rain is detected.
3. Wind sensor — louvers open or adjust in high winds to protect the system.

Every system starts motorized with a remote. These add-ons take it the rest of the way.

The cook usually gets the worst seat at a backyard party — back to the guests, face to the grill, sun on the neck.

This project works differently. The counter wraps so whoever's cooking faces the view and the people. Noon: louvers tilted to cut the midday sun off the bar top.
Four o'clock: angled wide open as the heat breaks.
