The BRC team spent the day together for our dual event outing.

The morning started at the range, followed by golf in the afternoon. It was a welcome chance to step away from the usual pace of the workday and spend time with the people who make this company what it is.

We’re grateful to everyone who was able to attend.

Also, a huge shout-out to our hosts at Stock & Barrel Gun Club and Emerald Greens Golf Course for helping make the event a success.

Every company has a "we made it" moment. This was ours.

BRC got its start in a New Brighton basement outfitted with repurposed carpet, used file cabinets, a Mac cube, and Selectric typewriters. From there, Building Restoration Corporation moved into what would become our long-time home in Roseville, MN.

The second photo says it all. That sign going up above the front door wasn't just signage. It was a statement; We are here to stay.

Decades later, the work continues. But it all traces back to those humble beginnings.

This is what our team is capable of.

The Elvehjem Building at UW-Madison required three copper systems, over 1,200 feet of gutters, all custom fabricated in-house by our own people. The precision and care that went into this project is a direct reflection of the skill this team brings every day.

This is the BRC way.

Visible damage rarely tells the full story. By the time mortar joints are visibly failing or surfaces are spalling, water has already been accelerating deterioration.

BRC has been performing masonry restoration across the Midwest for over 40 years. We assess what the building needs, ensure compatible and period-correct materials are used, and complete the work correctly the first time.

Watch as vintage project photos, with a bit of help from AI, tell the story of our work on the Blair House through the years.

Materials age. Weather takes its toll. Continued maintenance is part of preserving a building over time. These photos are a reminder that quality work creates lasting relationships, allowing us to continue caring over historic buildings like this one.

There is meaning in the pause. It is a moment to look up, to remember, and to hold in our hearts the men and women who gave their lives so others could live freely. This Memorial Day, we honor them with deep gratitude and respect.

This building is being restored to serve people who need it most.

In this project spotlight, we take a closer look at the restoration of a historic facility for Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota , designed to support single mothers, youth, and families in need.

Building Restoration Corporation was proud to work as a subcontractor for Ironmark Building Company on the exterior restoration scope of this project.

Our scope included tuckpointing, individual brick replacement, paint stripping, and recaulking to help restore and protect the historic exterior while preserving the character of the building for long-term use.

Projects like this require strong communication, coordination, and a shared commitment to quality from everyone involved. We appreciated the partnership with the Ironmark team throughout this project.
