Our deepest condolences to the Hebert Family! A great pillar of the community has been lost. We will not forget your hard work and dedication to keeping our community strong.
The outpouring of support following the passing of former Fort Bend County Judge Bob Hebert has been remarkable.
Republicans and Democrats alike, elected officials, community leaders, nonprofit organizations and longtime friends have shared memories of a man whose impact reached far beyond the Commissioners Court chamber.
Our latest story looks back at Hebert's 16 years as county judge, his lifetime of public service and the legacy he leaves behind—from guiding one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas to mentoring future leaders and serving Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels after leaving office.
If you knew Bob Hebert, we'd love to hear your memories in the comments.
