🚨 HAPPY NATIONAL PUNCTUATION DAY! 🚨

Today we celebrate commas, periods, and exclamation points!

But at Caspar’s Cleanouts, we have a favorite punctuation mark…

THE PERIOD. 💩🚽

Because when your sewer backs up, you want us to put a period at the end of that 💩! 😂

A few other punctuation marks we see on the job:

❓ Question mark: “Why is my toilet gurgling?”

‼️ Exclamation point: “WHY IS WATER COMING OUT OF MY FLOOR DRAIN?!”

… Ellipsis: “I thought flushable wipes were…”

💩 Period: “Caspar’s Cleanouts cleared the clog!”

🚨 THE MYSTERY BACKUP! 🚨

We got called out to a church today that had recently undergone a complete plumbing overhaul. All the old cast iron had been removed and replaced with nice, new PVC. Everything looked great… until they ended up with a sewer backup. 😳

So we got to work tracking down the problem.

After cleaning the line and doing some investigating, we found the culprit… a pneumatic test plug that had been left behind in the septic system! 🤦‍♂️

We were able to get the plug out of the line, get everything flowing again, and even saved the test plug so we could return it to the plumber. 😂

Sometimes sewer work isn’t just about clearing a clog—you’ve got to play detective too! 🕵️‍♂️🔎

Another backup solved, another line flowing, and another plumber’s equipment rescued. 💪
