Great news everyone. We got a Google account back up. We did have to create a new account, but we actually show up on Google now. If you have left a review in the past, if it's not too much trouble, can you leave a new one? We lost all of our reviews from Google, and you all were so gracious to give us all 5 stars. Thanks for your help and patience in all of this. And remember, we do not shut down for the winter. But you might want to pump your tank before the holidays if it's been awhile.

Terry and I used to have "Dump dates". The last load on Wednesday nights around 10PM, the kids in bed 10&14, we'd hop in the truck and dump it down in Oswego, IL. About an hour away. Well, we dump closer to home now and no longer have Dump dates. Well, today, the next generation had a Dump date. Ken Lindhorn, our son-in-law pumped a tank for us then went and did their tanks. So Brittny Lindhorn went with him. The traditional continues. 😍

If you look for us or our reviews on Google, they have been removed. We are still here. We are still 5 stars. We are still working. But we won't come up under Google for awhile until I can figure this out.
So if you google us we will come up under yelp and a few other companies but Google has dismantled our google listing. They are still taking our money but we have to prove verify who we are and somehow it's under Double E's previous owner's address and so we can't verify us, even though, I was once verified as Hallmann Septic.

Thank you for letting us be your septic company. We aren't going anywhere. Google can't get rid of us that easy. 😂

Hello, everyone. Believe it or not, the holiday season is fast approaching. Don't forget to get your septic tanks pumped/scheduled for pumping before the holiday rush.

Family owned and operated for over 50 years and starting the next generation.

I'm out in the truck today with Trevor. It's fun meeting people I've spoken with over the phone for years. One I met today asked if I was Terry's daughter. 😄 🤣

We received another call from a customer who was told by a competitor that we had retired and are no longer in business. I think I know who is doing this but I can't prove it. If any of you are told by a competitor that we are no longer in business, please let me know. This is getting ridiculous. Luckily, some of our customers have called to check first. I wonder how many fell for the lie. There is a company that was recently bought out but it wasn't us.

Shame on our competitors. Another reason to stick with us....we are honest with people whether they are our customer or not. We don't try to steal business from other companies.

Howdy everybody. Had an interesting phone call just now and thought I'd take a minute and teach you all something....

1) Unfortunately, many plumbers do not understand how a septic really works. If they tell you to get your tank pumped and after speaking with you for awhile, asking questions, I tell you it's not your tank...please take my word over the plumber. I won't tell you how to handle plumbing, I promise. While I will gladly take your money if you insist, I'm going to try to save you money if possible.
2) The tank is always "full". When you tell a septic person that, we are thinking, "yep! I know". The operating level of your tank is about 4-8 inches from the top of the tank and will stay there until it's pumped out. It will fill up with water in about 2-3 days after a pumping depending on usage and size of tank.
3) If you can see the water coming into the tank from the house because you can see your inlet pipe, your tank is fine.
4) If you, the home owner decide to believe the plumber, that's fine. But if you call me names, we will black list you. We will be happy to let someone else take your abuse.😂

Please always call us before the plumber. Most of the time we can tell you whether it's your tank or not by asking a few simple questions. Also, learn about your home. Do you have an ejector pit or sump pit in your basements? Does your sump pit empty into the septic? It shouldn't. Do you know the difference between the 2 pits? Sump pit is ground water from around your house, while the ejector pit ejects used water from laundry or bathroom up to the main pipe going out of the house. That right there tells us a lot when the back up is in the basement. Knowing these types of things can save you money.

Have a good rest of your day. Happy pooping. 💩

Hope you all had a fantastic Easter weekend.

Something to remember this time of year.....if your yard is wet, don't panic. Spring always brings wet weather and yards. Plus the melting of snow and/or the thawing of the ground. If you have any questions, pertaining to septics, feel free to give us a call at 630-529-7532.

Enjoy this beautiful weather we're supposed to have this week.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to check in and say hello. It's been a while since I've stopped by.

I had an interesting phone call yesterday. A customer had forgotten who was her pumping company. It happens. I, too, have forgotten a company's name that I want to have come back and do another job. So this customer called another company by mistake. She asked questions to be sure it was us. Obviously, it wasn't but what she told me shocked me. This person she spoke with told her that their company had bought many small companies and ours was one of them.

So I just want to reassure you all that we are still in business and Terry and I, Sandy, still own the company. We also have no intentions on selling in the foreseeable future. We still have Trevor who many of you know and love just as much as we do. I, recently, got my cdl so you may even see me in the truck. BTW, it's a blast to drive. And we're working on the next generation of learning the business. This is our grandson Josh.

So please give us a call for all of your septic needs. If we can't help you with something we will help you get to the person/people who can.

Have a wonderful March.
