When severe weather hits, critical facilities need infrastructure they can count on. Romtec Utilities designed and supplied a custom flood control pump station for Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Missouri, helping protect the healthcare campus from flooding and maintain safe access for patients, staff, and emergency responders.

The triplex stormwater pump station features three 15-horsepower pumps capable of moving up to 6,000 gallons per minute, providing the capacity needed to manage large stormwater flows during heavy rain events. Automated controls, backup float switches, and remote monitoring connections help ensure reliable operation when it matters most.

This project demonstrates how customized stormwater infrastructure can help safeguard critical facilities, reduce flood risk, and support uninterrupted operations during challenging weather conditions.

As part of the $250 million Hampton Park redevelopment in Capitol Heights, Maryland, Romtec Utilities provided a high-capacity stormwater pump station designed to protect this mixed-use development from flooding and stormwater impacts.

The 25-acre redevelopment is transforming a former retail site into a vibrant destination featuring residential housing, retail, hospitality, and community services. Romtec Utilities designed and supplied a wastewater lift station in Bedford, Nova Scotia, helping the Halifax Regional Water Commission replace two aging wastewater lift stations with one modern, reliable system. The new station was engineered to handle the combined flow of both existing systems, supporting continued growth and infrastructure needs in the Halifax region.

Built to support long-term operation and dependable wastewater management, this custom system includes grinder pumps, a precast concrete wet well, valve vault, integrated controls, and telemetry-ready monitoring capabilities.
