🚧 Another exciting chapter is officially underway at Station Yards!

TRITEC Real Estate Company and Northwell Health recently celebrated the groundbreaking of Phase 2C, a $175 million expansion that will bring 285 new apartments and 30,000 square feet of medical office space to Ronkonkoma.

We were proud to mark this milestone alongside elected officials, business leaders, project partners, and members of the community as work moves forward on the next phase of Station Yards.

Construction continues to move forward at Brightview Senior Living in Greenburgh, NY, where TRITEC serves as Construction Manager. 🏗️

With roofing, siding and stonework now substantially complete, the team’s focus has shifted to architectural interior finishes and the buildout of the garden courtyards. Plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire protection rough-ins are nearing completion in the final building sequence, with drywall and door installation progressing close behind.

Throughout the center of the building, trim, cabinetry, countertops, light fixtures, tile and flooring are taking shape, while appliances are being installed in the earlier sections as the team prepares for cleaning and owner acceptance punch lists.

Another productive month of progress as the project continues moving toward completion.

What was once the site of an abandoned, deteriorating motel is now a vibrant waterfront community that reflects the maritime character of the Village of Port Jefferson. Swipe to see the transformation. ➡️

TRITEC developed and constructed The Shipyard at Port Jeff Harbor, transforming the 3.67-acre site into 112 apartment homes just two blocks from Main Street and across from Port Jefferson Harbor.

Completed in 2018, the community was thoughtfully designed to connect with Port Jefferson’s shipbuilding roots, incorporating details inspired by the Village’s history throughout the property. The redevelopment also moved 168 parking spaces below the building, restored the adjacent Mill Creek, and created pedestrian connections that make it easy for residents to walk to the shops, restaurants, and entertainment of downtown Port Jefferson.

The opening of Matinecock Court this week was a celebration of persistence in the goal of adding more homes for Long Islanders.

During her remarks, Governor Kathy Hochul acknowledged Kevin Law, principal of TRITEC and chairman of Empire State Development. She said, "And I think about one of my best decisions was to ask Kevin Law to be the Chairman of Empire State Development. I wanted to send a message that I would bring in someone who is pro-business; who understood the power of state government to invest in projects, bring ideas to me; but also, I wanted Long Island to see that they had someone with a seat at the table in my administration that was influential."

We are proud to see Kevin's contributions acknowledged at such an important milestone.

We also extend our congratulations to Peter Florey and the team at D&F Development for successfully delivering a project first envisioned in 1978.
