We had another nice eggplant harvest this morning. The cucumbers are continuing to produce nicely. If you're up to pickling, we've got close to 5 pounds of the prized Boston Pickling Cucumbers today. We're hearing very nice comments on the Beit Alpha Persian Cucumbers.

A few have asked about our plans for fall crops. We're looking forward to starting lettuce seeds indoors in a couple of weeks (the soil is too hot for lettuce seed germination). We will direct sow gold and red beets, carrots, spinach and kale. "Each season brings new opportunities to reflect on God's provision and faithfulness."

"Cultivating gratitude can enhance the joy found in gardening, making it a spiritual practice as well." As always, we are more than grateful for your support and encouragement! Thank you!!!

We would like to thank our wonderful customers for making this possible. Without your support, we would not be able to provide this nutritious, chemical-free produce to those in need. Chemicals are never an option, we only use organic products and methods to grow all of our flavorful garden goodies.

Pastor Tony continued his powerful message titled "Illuminated," teaching us how to navigate the darkness of sin using the light of God's Word.

Here are four vital warnings for living a life of freedom in Christ:

đź“– Don't misread sin: Rely on the Bible's truth rather than the world's perspective. Recognize that sin is a dangerous weapon intended for your destruction.

⚠️ Don't be misled by sin: Sin is deeply deceitful. Even if it seems harmless at first, its ultimate goal is to harden your heart and destroy your life.

🚫 Don't mishandle sin: Stop covering or making excuses for it. True freedom comes through biblical repentance—turning away from sin and surrendering your heart to Jesus.

✨ Don't miss out: Keep your gaze fixed on the hope of Heaven, where sin, illness, and death will be gone forever.

You don't have to stay trapped! The road to victory over sin or any addiction or struggle is open through repentance and the power of the resurrected Jesus Christ.

Take the step today—come to Jesus and experience the new way of life He has for you!

⚔️ What if one relationship could change the outcome of a battle you didn't even know you were fighting?

The Bible tells us we're in a spiritual battle every day... but what if one of God's greatest weapons isn't something you hold—it's the way you treat the people around you?

đź’ˇ This Sunday, Pastor Tony continues our Illuminated series with a message that will challenge the way you think about:

🤝 Forgiveness
đź’™ Encouragement
đź‘‚ Listening
✨ Responding with grace when relationships get messy

🤢 STINKIN' THINKIN' THURSDAY 🤢

"I'll forgive...when they deserve it."

That's stinkin' thinkin'.

Forgiveness isn't pretending the hurt didn't happen. It isn't excusing sin. And it doesn't always mean trust is immediately restored.

Forgiveness is choosing to release the offense into God's hands instead of allowing bitterness to take root in your heart.

When we refuse to forgive, we don't imprison the other person—we imprison ourselves.

Bitterness steals our joy, hardens our hearts, and keeps old wounds alive.
Jesus never said forgiveness would be easy.

But He did make it clear that forgiven people are called to forgive.
Not because others have earned it...but because we never could earn His forgiveness either.

đź“– "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
— Ephesians 4:32

đź’ STINKIN' THINKIN':
"I'll forgive when they've earned it."

âś… GOD'S TRUTH:
"I forgive because Christ forgave me."
Forgiveness doesn't change the past.
It changes who controls your future.

Don't let someone else's offense become your prison. Let God's grace set you free.

I just picked 4lbs of those incredible Sun Sugar cherry tomatoes everyone's been raving about. I wanted to get them in before the rain comes. Due to severe splitting, from all the rain last week, I threw away close to 15lbs.

Cucumbers are coming in daily, along with the peppers. Our eggplant harvest has been steady, come and get some. I made a very tasty Baba Ganoush last week.

This mornings harvest and over 3lbs of hot peppers. The peppers are Serrano and Datil. Serrano peppers are a type of chili pepper that originated in the mountainous regions of Puebla and Hidalgo, Mexico, and they are known for their heat, ranging from 10,000 to 25,000 Scoville Heat Units. They are commonly used in Mexican cuisine, particularly in dishes like salsa and pico de gallo.
Datil peppers are a variety of chili pepper that is unique to the state of Florida, specifically St. Augustine. It’s an extra-hot chili (100,000 to 300,000 Scoville heat units), similar to the spiciness of a habanero or scotch bonnet. And the Datil’s conical shape and sweet, fruity flavor are similar to the habanero as well.

We deeply appreciate everyone who helps make Blessed to Bless Gardens possible. Thanks to your generosity, we are able to provide nourishing food to those who are often overlooked or receive whatever is left behind. It is a privilege to share our harvest and give "the first fruits" to these individuals, reminding us of the true purpose behind our efforts.

For example, the lettuce shown in these photos was picked around 9:30 AM on Saturday, delivered to Westminster Presbyterian on Shorter Ave shortly after 10 AM, and prepared for lunch by the amazing, selfless volunteers with Bus Fare.

Moments like these are shared to honor God and highlight the meaningful impact you make through your support.
