We are proud to share a first look at the new intake facility designed for Dawson County Humane Society. This expanded space is thoughtfully planned to improve the experience for both animals and staff, providing a more efficient and compassionate environment for evaluation, care, and temporary housing.

As the shelter continues its mission to serve Dawson County, community support remains essential. The organization is currently in the midst of a capital campaign to fund its broader shelter expansion, helping address growing intake needs and improving long‑term animal care.
