High Accuracy: Active leaks are routinely confirmed within just 5 feet of a canine alert, with some dogs boasting a 99.7% detection rate up to 15 feet deep!

Super Senses: With 300 million olfactory receptors, they sniff out chlorine at parts per trillion—like finding one drop in an Olympic pool!

Material Blind: Unlike acoustic tech that struggles on concrete, plastic, or composite pipes, dogs don't care about pipe material. If it leaks, they smell it.

Raw Water Breakthrough: Trials proved canines successfully detect leaks in untreated raw water lines without needing any chemical tracers injected.

Real Impact: In South Dakota, the team found a remote, hidden break leaking 10+ gallons per minute, saving thousands in water loss.

The Best Part? It is non-invasive, highly cost-effective, and pipelines stay fully in service while the dogs work. Plus, walking the alignment helps operators spot other remote infrastructure issues before they escalate.
