We have several guys out documenting storm damages, tarping roof damage, insoecting for roofing damages, and lending a helping hand however else they can for the next several days! Having your roof checked periodically can save you from major issues developing. Roof leaks, even unseen ones, can lead to mold and other air quality issues in your home! Here are some examples of damages to a roof that are unseen from the ground level!

Now that the worst is hopefully past our area be sure to have your roof checked for damages from the crazy wind we experienced. Here is what YOU should do during these next couple of days…

Property can be replaced YOU cannot

1. ANYONE in a mobile home should find the nearest storm shelter or stay with family or friends
2.IF you have a basement get there against most interior wall and protect head with helmet, object, arms, etc.
3.IF you do not have a basement find the most interior room or hallway of your house and sit against the way while protecting head. More walls between you and outside the better for flying debris. The walls also help help in case of a collapse by creating livable void spaces.
4. Charge your phone, have flashlights, weather radio etc to remain weather aware in case of power outages.

The Alabama Mutual Aid Systems are on alert status which means fire departments and other services throughout the state are preparing and staffing for the likelihood of our upcoming inclement weather.

After 2 denials on a customers insursncr claim through other roofing companies we documented enough damage to warrant another adjuster meeting!
