I never write long entries but this felt necessary. Last night at the American legion building they had the best of the best awards for Hawkins county. It was amazing to be there and see all the best win their awards. I'm proud of this community and living here is my pleasure. I knew lots of the people winning awards and was so happy for them and everyone who did. I won for best painter and best painting service. It has been my honor and pleasure to serve this community.I just want to say that you people let us into your homes, you trust us with your home, and you trust us with the vision you have for your home. I do not take that lightly and I never will. I will always give it my best. I am grateful to the people I have met while working in the Hawkins county area and I love living in rogersville. I have made many friends. I met my wife here and have been married 10 years. She has been my partner in business with me for the last three and she is a huge help. She keeps things running in the office and keeps me on track. Thank you Melissa Beckwith . I love my church,Greater vision ministries right here in Rogersville. Great preaching, great teaching. And true friendships throughout. I'm staying here for life. And I will continue to work one job at a time doing my very best work on each one of them. Thank you all again. Thank you for the nomination and thank you for the votes. It will be appreciated throughout my life. Because this happens to be my 50th anniversary of doing this for a living also. So what a year!
