๐ Armyworm Alert for North Texas! ๐ฑ
Weโre starting to see armyworm activity in lawns across North Texas, and we want to help our customers stay ahead of it!
Armyworms can cause noticeable lawn damage in a short amount of time, but knowing what to look for can help you catch them early.
๐ Hereโs what to watch for:
โ
Brown or thinning patches that seem to appear suddenly.
โ
Grass blades that look chewed or ragged instead of healthy and green.
โ
Small caterpillars crawling through the grass, often greenish to brown with stripes along their bodies.
โ
Moths flying over your lawn, especially in the evening. These can be a sign of potential armyworm activity.
๐ฟ The good news? Keeping an eye on your lawn and catching activity early can help prevent more extensive damage.
If you notice any of these signs or suspect armyworms may be moving into your lawn, reach out to us! Weโre monitoring activity and can help determine whether treatment is needed.
