This week, Wes brought us back to one of the pillars that has been part of Firehouse for years.
In our conference room hangs a quote from George Washington Carver:
"When you can do the common things of life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world."
Wes asked a simple question:
What does that actually look like?
The answer wasn't big wins.
It wasn't flashy moments.
It was the small things.
The unseen things.
The shadow work.
The attention to detail that nobody celebrates in the moment.
Showing up on time.
Taking the extra few minutes to perform a thorough assessment.
Making sure paperwork is complete and accurate.
Learning a new part.
Digging into a new problem so we can better serve the next customer.
Fardeen pointed out something we hear often in our reviews:
Customers notice when you take the time.
They notice when you don't rush.
They notice when you care.
And that's where Wes tied it all together.
The small things are where trust and respect are won.
Not in the big moments.
The big moments are usually the result of hundreds of small moments done well.
That's part of The Firehouse Way. ❤️🔥
