Receiving the 2026 People’s Choice Award in just my fourth year as a general contractor is a tremendous honor and a milestone I’m incredibly proud of. McAlister Construction is honored to announce that we have been voted 2026 Best of Rockport-Fulton General Contractor!

For the past 27 years, McAlister Construction has proudly served Rockport-Fulton. For a large part of those years, we worked alongside many of our area’s well-respected builders as a trusted subcontractor before transitioning to serving exclusively as a general contractor.

The Casitas Project is nearing completion!

Over the past six months, we have built two beautiful 1000 ft.², 2-bedroom, 2-bath coastal cottages on adjoining waterfront lots. Designed with a classic coastal cottage theme, each home features impact-resistant windows and doors, custom cabinetry, granite countertops, wainscoting accent walls in the bedrooms, craftsman-style trim, and built-in closet systems that match the main house.
Each Casita has its own private waterfront pavilion complete with a porch swing, picnic table, and barbecue pit overlooking the channel. The two homes also have a circle concrete driveway and share a private boat ramp, creating the perfect setup for family gatherings and coastal living.
The final touch remaining is the installation of the 42-inch black aluminum fencing along the waterfront side of each property.
The owners are thrilled with the finished product and excited to welcome family and friends to enjoy their new investment just in time for the Fourth of July.
