Chip and Bennett recently installed a new circulator pump at a school in Bellingham. The existing pump had become badly rotted and was leaking a significant amount of water, so it was time for a replacement.

The process included:

• Isolating and draining water from the pump
• Lockout/Tagout of the electrical and removing the wiring
• Cutting out and removing the old circulator pump
• Cleaning the old flanges and removing old hardware
• Installing the new circulator pump with new hardware
• Filling the pump and checking for leaks
• Wiring and testing the new pump for proper functionality
• Purging the heating loop of air
• Bringing the pump back online and returning the boiler to service

Great work by Chip and Bennett getting the system back up and running safely and efficiently!🔥

Austin F. and Fran Z. recently completed an important burner upgrade at an apartment complex in Central Massachusetts. They removed an older linkage-style Power Flame burner from a sectional boiler and replacing it with a new Power Flame burner equipped with Autoflame MK9 combustion controls.

This upgrade provides several major benefits:

🔥Precise combustion control for improved burner performance
🔥Electronic fuel/air ratio control instead of traditional mechanical linkage
🔥Improved efficiency by maintaining more accurate combustion throughout the firing range
🔥Better repeatability during low, mid, and high fire operation
🔥Improved monitoring and diagnostics with the Autoflame MK9
🔥Reduced mechanical adjustment and maintenance compared with traditional linkage systems
🔥Greater control and reliability for the boiler system

This unit was recently sent to a process metal plating company in West Springfield to provide temporary steam support during an outage.

Providing temporary heat with a purpose💪🏻

Our team recently connected a mobile boiler at a college art museum in the greater Boston area. This unit will supply the hot water needed for humidity control while repairs are made to the steam piping from the main plant.

Sam and Ian installed a new condensate tank at a university in the greater Boston area 🔧

This included removing the old tank, piping the new system, and wiring the condensate pump. They also identified additional boiler repairs that will be completed before heating season to help make the system run as efficiently and reliably as possible🔥
