I'm not great about using social media but from everything I've read and listened to about it, I'm starting to think that's a really good thing. 😊

You won't see me on here very often this fall and winter as cleaning up the garden and prepping for next year aren't things I'm going to be taking pictures of.

I went out to the garden to see what I could find and was able to pull this together and enjoy the last looks and smells of our garden for 2022! Here's to continuing the rhythms of life that fall and winter require of me as a flower farmer yes, but more importantly as a mom, wife, friend, and part of a church community.

I try to make and keep margin in our lives and sometimes it runs tight and I can feel our schedule choking the life out of us and I react by clearing out the webs of things that aren't necessary and leaning in to what truly matters.

Hopefully you find some rest for your souls this fall and winter...

Hazel tells me when she turns 16 she wants 16 roses and I hope by then I have enough to cut them all from our garden!
