There's still time to get your native gardens planted! We will still be open and selling native plants for 2 more weeks! We are officially stopping sales for the season on October 17th, so come by and get your plants while you can!
We are not going to be at the Davenport Farmers market for the rest of the season, but our retail location at 1416 6th AVE Rock Island 61201 will be open from 9am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday. So come by this Saturday and check out the selection of over 70 species of native plants that we have in stock!

We are back at the Davenport Farmers market. Plenty of time to still plant native this year.
Plants roots will continue growing until the soil temperature is below 55 degrees, so we still have a few weeks!

Fall is a great time to plant perennial Native Plants!
That's right!
As long as the soil temperature is above 55 °F, roots will continue growing. Keep on mind that soil holds its temperature very steady, so even as the air temperature starts to dip, the soil is still nice and warm. We still have roughly 1 month (maybe more if the weather stays warm) to plant native plants, so come down to the shop, or stop by St. John's Lutheran Church - Rock Island tomorrow (Sunday September 13th) from 11am- 4pm where we will be selling 62 different species of Native Plants!
We hope to see you there, but if you can't make it, you can find us at the Schuetzen Park plant sale in Davenport IA on September 19th or stop by our greenhouse at 1416 6th Ave in Rock Island .
