SKILLED CARPENTER WANTED – SHED BUILDER
Superior Sheds – Rock Island, IL is looking for an experienced carpenter who can frame efficiently and finish clean.
If you take pride in your work, move with purpose, and can build something right the first time—this is a great fit.
This is a hands-on role building portable buildings from start to finish. Every building is a little different, so you’ll stay busy and challenged.

What You’ll Do:
• Build sheds start to finish (framing → finish work)
• Work both in our shop and on job sites
• Use tools safely and efficiently
• Work alongside the owner & his son
• Produce quality work without constant supervision
This is production-style work, but we expect clean, professional results.

What We’re Looking For:
• Solid construction/carpentry experience (framing required)
• Ability to work efficiently without cutting corners
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Basic tools (tool belt, hammer, tape, etc.)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in heat & cold weather.

What You Get:
• Strong pay for strong performance - Starting pay: $20–$23/hr based on experience. Higher pay considered after demonstrating quality and efficiency.
• Consistent work during the season – Note this is a Seasonal position (typically off most of January)
• Small crew – no corporate nonsense
• Direct work with the owner (no layers of management)
