It’s ✨ ! ✨
There’s nothing quite like a kitchen transformation that makes you wonder how it was ever the same space.
This kitchen had plenty of square footage to work with, but the layout wasn’t making the most of it. The dual-height island broke up the room, the desk had become valuable real estate without much purpose, and the refrigerator was sitting in what had the potential to be the best focal point in the kitchen.
So, we moved some things around.
The old desk area became home to a fully integrated panel-ready refrigerator and dedicated coffee bar. Moving the refrigerator freed up the perfect spot for the range, where a stunning statement hood, full-height backsplash and sconces now create the focal point this kitchen was begging for.
And we couldn’t let the old two-tier island stay. In its place, we designed a much larger single-height island with tons of uninterrupted prep space, comfortable seating and open sightlines throughout the room. The furniture-style details and rich stained finish make it beautiful enough to be the centerpiece of the kitchen, while what’s happening inside might be even better.
This kitchen is fully loaded with thoughtful storage inserts, organization built around how our clients actually use the space, and docking drawers that keep devices charging and cords off the countertops. Because the prettiest kitchen in the world isn’t much fun if it doesn’t function well.
We rounded it all out with a two-tone cabinetry palette that works beautifully with the home’s existing warm wood trim. Rather than changing something that already belonged, we let it help inform the new design.
More storage. More prep space. Better flow. Clearer sightlines. And a whole lot more personality. 🏡✨
The new kitchen is bright, airy, warm, ridiculously functional, and exactly what this family needed. 🤍
