🚨 We’re Hiring! Excavation Laborer / Sitework Technician
📍 Location: Ontario, NY

Schreiber Excavating, a leader in construction site development, has an exciting opportunity for a Sitework Technician / Excavation Laborer to join our growing team in Ontario, NY!
👷♂️ Responsibilities:
– Installation of utilities
– Earthmoving and site grading
– Road base installation, prep for curbs, sidewalks, gutters, and floor subbase
– Concrete forming and finishing
– Foundation excavation and backfill
– Erosion control
– Installation of bollards
📌 Physically demanding role. Experience preferred but not required. Not an operator position, but equipment operation may be available later.
🛠 What You'll Do:
– Work with a crew of operators, technicians, and project leaders
– Install water lines, sanitary/storm sewer piping, manholes, electric trenching, light pole bases
– Lay pipe in trench using pipe laser and stone
– Operate heavy-duty haul trucks, rollers, skid steers
– Grade subbase for roads, sidewalks, and gutters
– Rake asphalt/concrete and finish concrete work

✅ Qualifications:
Basic:
– Physically fit and able to work hard
– Self-motivated, dependable, and a team player
– Valid driver’s license
– Able to lift 50–80 lbs regularly
Preferred:
– Experience in sitework or excavation
– Utility install, grading, foundations, subbase experience
– Pipe laser and grade-setting tools
– GPS familiarity
– Mechanical/diagnostic ability
– CDL license
– Leadership or SWPPP experience
– Tech-savvy with phones/computers
