Progress is underway at The Meadows on Seneca, a 70-unit new construction project in Ithaca, NY.

Our latest drone flight captures a phase of construction most people rarely see: groundwork and site preparation. While not the most visible part of a project, this stage is essential. It’s where the site is shaped, reinforced, and engineered to support the full weight and function of the building for decades to come.

Before vertical construction begins, our crew is focusing on grading, laying out utilities, stabilizing soils, and preparing the foundation. All of which will determine just how smoothly the rest of the project will progress. A strong foundation will ensure a safe, durable, and high-performing structure above.

Yesterday, our Construction Management team celebrated the ribbon cutting for the newly completed Alpheus Clark House and Event Lodge at Shadow Pines in Penfield, NY.

This project has been years in the making, and our team delivered it ahead of schedule and under budget! A true reflection of their dedication to quality and to the Town of Penfield.

Originally built in 1832, the historic Clark House has been carefully restored and now stands alongside a brand‑new 5,800 sq. ft. multi‑purpose event lodge designed for community gatherings, rentals, and celebrations.

We’re proud to help preserve a piece of Penfield’s history while creating a modern community space that will serve residents for generations to come!

The Kendrick Apartments in Hamilton, NY are now complete... and they look stunning!

Our team transformed the downtown landscape by removing several aging structures and constructing a new 78,000 SF mixed‑use building designed to strengthen walkability, connectivity, and vibrancy in the Village Center.

The first floor now offers commercial, office, and restaurant space that supports local businesses and encourages foot traffic throughout the downtown corridor. Above, thoughtfully designed residential units bring new energy and opportunity to the heart of Hamilton.

Christa Construction is proud to have delivered this transformative project for the Hamilton Initiative, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the Village and its future residents.

Work is steadily progressing at the Gateway Apartments redevelopment in downtown Rochester. Our crews are removing the exterior façade and advancing interior rehabilitation as we prepare this historic structure for the next chapter of its life.

Once complete, the project will introduce 129 mixed-income apartments to East Main Street, supporting the city's ongoing revitalization efforts across its core region.

Christa is proud to serve as the General Contractor on this project and look forward to seeing more progress as we continue our work!

A big day for downtown Rochester!

Today we gathered with local officials, project parters, and members of our community to celebrate the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Gateway Apartments, a major redevelopment that will breathe new life to the long vacant Gateway Building on East Main Street.

Christa Construction is serving as the general contractor for this project and will lead the full rehabilitation of the building. Our team will complete the build-out of 129 new apartment units, update core mechanical electrical, and plumbing systems, make structural improvements, and add new commercial space to support ground level retail activities.

We’re proud to contribute to a more vibrant, inclusive downtown, and to deliver a project that reflects our commitment to building with purpose.
