• Committing to a dialog about the economic feasibility of creating human habitat that the earth can sustain, and that we can sustain as stewards of our own habitat.

• Taking action to support that dialog in a meaningful way that addresses the challenges evaded by

doing nothing, and exposes the next challenge. What can we do now that can broaden our platform for action in the near future? If you've done a sustainable action, tell us all about it! Post links on our wall, announce discussion topics and put in your two cents. Our desire is to cultivate an active community that supports discussion of ideas, introductions to others of like mind, and powerful action derived from meaningful debate.

Erin Schambureck, MFA, Senior Interior Designer and Partner with CRW architecture + design group, presented last week at the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Conference in Denver. Her presentation focused on designing supportive environments for the visually impaired and aging populations. A recognized thought leader in accessible design, Erin currently serves as Vice-Chair of the IES Committee on Lighting for Seniors and the Visually Impaired and is a frequent presenter at Environments for Aging. Additionally, she serves on the board of Vision for Chicago, a nonprofit providing vision services to formerly incarcerated adults reentering society. Through her design practice and advocacy, Erin champions equitable, high-quality lighting and interior environments for all.

Thank you to SPARK Children's Museum of Rochester for inviting us to participate in this summer's STEAM Camp!

We had a great time introducing curious campers to the world of architecture, exploring how each project has unique design challenges, learning about blueprints, and creating their own design ideas. It was inspiring to see their creativity and problem-solving skills in action. We're grateful for the opportunity to share our passion for architecture and help spark interest in STEAM careers with the next generation of innovators.

Exciting progress at Kellogg Middle School! 🏫 ✨

Not too long ago we completed a series of finish updates designed to completely brighten and revitalize the learning environment. The transformation includes new flooring, fresh paint, and updated wall coverings throughout most of the building.
