This is, perhaps, our most significant built-in cabinet project to date. It covers a wall almost 16’ long with shelving units that flank a window seat. The inset doors and sidewall/soffit panels all feature panel mouldings, which appear elsewhere in the house. The built up crown mouldings in the room were substantial, and we were able to reuse the original (which was challenging).
Note: We do owe some paint to the base and shoe. However, impatience ruled the day, and I made this post anyway.
Note 2: We had to deal with an inlay detail in the hardwood floor. This will be featured in a subsequent post. The base/shoe paint will happen after the floor is refinished.
