Meet Lauren, the other half of Cramer Contracting. 👋

After more than a decade as a Physician Assistant in clinical care and healthcare leadership, Lauren made a major career shift: joining Ian full-time to help Cramer Contracting grow while keeping the homeowner experience personal.

Behind the scenes, she handles a little bit of everything—from client communication and project coordination to operations, marketing, and systems. She focuses on making the process organized and clear, from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

Construction and healthcare may look different, but both depend on trust, careful listening, attention to detail, and caring for people. Lauren brings that perspective to her work every day, helping homeowners feel informed and supported throughout their remodel.

She believes remodeling a home deserves as much care as the finished result.

Good communication starts with the first response.

These homeowners put a lot of time into finding the right contractor. They searched Google, read recommendations on Reddit, and kept a spreadsheet of companies to contact.

When we talked about how they found us, one thing they remembered was that we got back to them.

This remodel is a good example of how thoughtful design can completely change the way a kitchen feels without changing the entire footprint.

A small footprint can still make a big impact.

This project gave two well-used spaces a fresh start. The former sitting area was opened up and simplified with lighter finishes, updated flooring, new lighting, and a cleaner connection to the outdoors. The powder room was completely reworked with a new vanity, warm brass details, and a statement tile wall that adds just the right amount of character.

Thoughtful updates, better function, and a finish that feels much more intentional.
