CHS is looking for a Field Technician – Construction

We are looking for a Field Technician to join our construction team. This role works on-site to support project quality, safety, and progress across active job sites.

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site inspections to confirm work matches project plans and specifications. Install, test, and troubleshoot equipment and systems as required by the project scope. Perform site measurements and layout using standard surveying tools. Document daily progress, inspections, and material usage through reports and photos. Identify and resolve technical issues on-site, coordinating with project managers and engineers as needed. Ensure all work complies with OSHA and relevant safety codes. Communicate between office staff and on-site crews to keep projects aligned with plans and timelines.

Qualifications

Technical degree, certificate, or apprenticeship in a construction-related field. Experience with surveying tools, testing equipment, or trade-specific systems (electrical, mechanical, civil, etc.) preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints and technical specifications. Comfortable working outdoors and on active job sites. Valid driver's license required.

Pay: Determined on your experience.
