Holmes Building Systems LLC Announces New Ownership

Robbins, NC — October 1, 2026

Holmes Building Systems LLC today announced a change in ownership. Jim Holmes and his wife, Cindy, have sold 100 percent of their ownership interest in the company to their son, Jimmy K. Holmes, former associate Richard Smith, and valued customer Jeff Jones.

The transition marks an important new chapter for Holmes Building Systems while preserving the relationships, values, and commitment to quality that have guided the company throughout its history. Jimmy, Richard, and Jeff each have strong connections to the business and understand the needs of its customers, employees, suppliers, and business partners. The new owners are committed to building on the company’s foundation and leading it successfully into the future.

Jim Holmes will remain involved in a consulting role for the next 12 months, providing guidance and support to the new owners to help ensure a smooth transition.

The company’s operations, commitments, and dedication to customer service will continue without interruption. Customers can expect the same dependable service and personal attention they have come to rely on. Employees, suppliers, and business partners remain essential to the company’s success, and the new owners are committed to maintaining and strengthening these relationships.
