We recently hydrojeted a main sewer line to clear a tough blockage! After opening the line, we ran our 360° inspection camera through the 6” terracotta pipe to assess its condition. As you can see in the video, the camera gave us a clear picture and helped pinpoint a few specific issues that need attention.

Regular camera inspections take the guesswork out of plumbing! 🛠️📹

Unlike traditional stick-built homes with underground plumbing set deep below a concrete slab or deep foundation, mobile home plumbing sits underneath the structure inside the belly wrap.
1. Lack of Slope ("Fall"): Drain lines require a precise downward slope—typically 1/4 inch of drop per foot of pipe—so gravity can move both liquids and solids efficiently. If the line is too flat, water flows away quickly while solid waste and toilet paper stay behind.
2. Settling & Sagging: Over time, mobile home piers can shift, or support straps underneath the home can loosen. This causes the main sewer line to sag, creating a "belly" in the pipe where standing water and debris pool, leading to recurring clogs.
3. Low-Flow Toilets vs. Flat Lines: Modern low-flow toilets use less water per flush. While great for saving water, they often don't supply enough volume to push waste through a line that lacks proper fall.
