Got a Tub Spout That Won't Stop Leaking?
**Damaged Cartridge**: If your faucet uses a cartridge system, a damaged cartridge can cause leaks. The cartridge controls the flow of water, and any damage to it can result in dripping.
**Corroded Valve Seat**: The valve seat connects the faucet to the spout. Corrosion or wear and tear on the valve seat can cause leaks around the spout area.
**Loose Parts**: Over time, parts of the faucet can become loose. Tightening these parts can often fix the leak.
O-ring Problems**: The O-ring is a small disc attached to the stem screw that holds the faucet handle in place. If the O-ring becomes worn or loose, it can cause a leak.
Identifying the exact cause will usually require disassembling the faucet and inspecting these components. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, it might be best to give us a call! 951-788-1321
