One backed-up toilet exposed a much bigger problem underground. 🚨

After running a camera through the line, our team found a broken sewer pipe and located the exact problem area. Now we’re excavating and preparing for a pipe burst to replace the damaged line with new pipe.

Anytime you’re working with drains, you gotta protect yourself.

Gloves, goggles, all of it.

You’re dealing with dirty water, bacteria, and stuff you really don’t want getting on your skin or in your eyes.

Safety first, then get to work.

If your sewer line is cracked, leaking, or constantly backing up, you usually have a few ways to fix it.

You can trench it out and replace the whole line, epoxy the inside of the existing pipe, or pipe burst a new line through the old one.

Which one makes sense really depends on how damaged the pipe is.

If the line is still in decent shape, epoxy can be a good option. If it’s too far gone, pipe bursting may be the better move.

That’s why we always camera the line first before recommending anything.

Water bill suddenly way higher than normal?

It might not be the long showers. You could have a slab leak.

The problem with slab leaks is you usually don’t notice them right away. Meanwhile, water is running and that bill keeps climbing.

And once the pipe starts failing, fixing one small section isn’t always the best move. Sometimes it makes more sense to replace the compromised line so the homeowner isn’t dealing with the same problem again later.

This line had a bad blockage, so we ran the camera, found the damaged section, and opened it up.

From here, we’re pipe bursting a new line from the garage out to the front yard.

The new pipe gets pulled through the old one and replaces it as it goes.

Big hole, a lot of work, but way better than digging up the whole property.

For this slab leak reroute, we used PEX because when it’s installed correctly, it’s a reliable solution that can last for decades.

At the end of the day, good plumbing is the plumbing you don’t have to think about.
