Over a year ago I had a lady approach me at the Camelot Yard Sale where I was selling some of my woodworkings. She asked me if I could finish the work on a grandfather’s clock that her late husband had started before he had suffered a fatal heart attack. I told her that I would need to see the project before I could say yes and she said that she would get back to me.
Well on July 1st of this year, Elaine Pederson called and asked if I was still interested.
I went to her daughter’s home and found a beautiful piece of craftsmanship laying in pieces on her garage floor. They needed it assembled and completed by the end of July because daughter Angela Pederson and her family were moving to Arizona at the beginning of August.
I took on the project and was honored to finish this heirloom. I hope that their family will cherish their father’s beautiful craftsmanship for many future generations.
