Mountain Top Deck & Hardscape — Schroon Lake, NY

What began as a replacement of the home’s two-level deck—one elevated and one at ground level—uncovered the need for extensive work beneath the front of this Schroon Lake home.

Adirondack Customs excavated the front of the house, constructed and back-filled a substantial retaining wall, and stabilized the hillside and surrounding area.

Concrete supports were installed to provide a solid foundation for the new elevated deck, while the site work prepared the lower area for the ground-level deck.

The finished project addressed the property’s structural and site challenges while creating two durable outdoor living spaces against a beautiful Adirondack mountain backdrop.
