Our products are handcrafted and custom-built according to the specifications of the buyer. Some of the exotic wood is purchased from the market, but the majority of the lumber that we use has been logged, milled, dried, and finished by Four Oaks. The final produ

Working on a Bur Oak bench top and making 4x4 Bur Oak legs. Our big A/C in the shop went down and even with the carpet dryer blowing it’s incredibly hot under the tin roof. Worked on planning some logs with the new Log Wizard but rain has postponed that endeavor. Luckily there’s always something to glue up in the finishing shop.

Our Story

Four Oaks LLC is a veteran (hooyah, EOD) and family owned carpentry business that is dedicated to creating heirloom quality and unique wood products for the home. We combine old-world carpentry skills with modern advancements to build a product our customers can enjoy for generations.

Our business is a partnership of myself and my father, Roger, who has 40+ years of carpentry skills and construction experience. I am a 14 year active duty Navy veteran and current Navy Reservist. While I enjoyed the challenges and adventures being a Navy EOD tech offered, I grew tired of frequently being away from my family. It was while sitting outside the Delerium Cafe on a backpacking trip through Brussels that I realized that life didn’t have to end with the Navy so I started formulating a plan to start a business in woodworking.

Our products are handcrafted and custom built according to the specifications of the buyer. Some exotic wood is purchased from the market, but the majority of our lumber has been planted, logged, milled, dried, and finished by us on our property in Wisconsin. What you recieve has been in our care from the moment it was planted until specially selected for your design.
