CLC Landscape Design We are licensed landscape architects and landscape professionals who design, install, and maintain.

Bergen County Magazine Article: https://issuu.com/wainscotmedia/docs/bergen_april2024_issuu My father founded CLC Landscape Design on the belief that Great Landscapes Begin with Great Design Ideas. Within one company he combined the vision of the landscape architect and the craftsmanship of the landscape contractor. This concept of design/build landscaping produces superior landscapes because the designer’s vision is implemented by a team of craftsmen trained in installing his landscapes. The success of CLC’s design/build method is evident by our numerous thrilled clients and number of prestigious landscape awards. Since its inception over 40 years ago, CLC Landscape Design has been a leader in design/build landscaping by blending classic design concepts with cutting-edge design ideas. In addition, we consistently incorporate into our landscapes new-and-improved plant varieties, hardscape materials, and installation techniques. With a vast knowledge of landscape design concepts and material options, we tailor each of our landscapes to meet the unique style of each of our clients. The success of CLC has led to numerous long-term relationships with our clients, some of whom we have been honored to have as clients for over 30 years. In addition, almost all of our employees have worked with us for over 10 years, and some as long as 30 years. These long-term relationships have led to a family-type atmosphere at CLC and a positive energy that translates into superb client experiences. After proudly serving as an officer in the United States Navy, I joined CLC Landscape Design, and now as a team, my father and I continue to share our belief that Great Landscapes Begin with Great Design Ideas. Together with a wonderful and talented staff of landscape architects, designers, project managers, and craftsmen, we fulfill all of your landscape needs in a fun and easy manner. I invite you to visit our website - www.CLCdesign.com - to learn more about us and enjoy viewing photographs of our beautiful landscape projects. Also, please do not hesitate to give us a call at (973) 839-6026; we would love to get to know you and share some exciting design ideas for your landscape with you!

"Don't Fight the Site." 🌿🌸

This is a great motto to follow in landscape design, and especially with plant selection.

Every property has its own unique growing conditions: sun, shade, drainage, deer, etc. The secret to a beautiful and long-lasting landscape is choosing the right plants for the right places! 🌳☀️

At CLC Landscape Design, we want all your plantings to THRIVE, not just SURVIVE! 🌺🌼

That's why we put so much thought and care into plant selection. Our goal is to give you a beautiful landscape filled with healthy trees, colorful flowers, and lush plantings that bring joy to your surroundings year after year. 😍

Would you like more natural beauty in your world? Let CLC design and install a landscape that brings out the best in your property!

Great landscape design is about making the most of every square foot! 🌿✨

For yards of all sizes, the CLC team looks for creative ways to make an outdoor space feel beautiful, functional, and full of places to enjoy.

For this backyard, our landscape plan centered around a beautiful koi pond surrounded by lush, colorful plantings. 🪷🐟 From there, we created multiple destinations throughout the backyard: an elevated deck, a grilling patio, a second patio tucked beneath a pergola, and two lawn panels that introduce open green space into the garden. 🌸🌱

And when the sun goes down, thoughtfully designed landscape lighting brings it all to life so the homeowners can enjoy their vibrant backyard well into the evening. ✨🌙

What potential does your yard have?

Let CLC help you discover its potential!

Fall is for planting! 🌸 🌿

This fall-blooming Japanese Anemone is a beautiful reminder that the landscape season doesn’t end when summer does. In fact, fall is one of the best times of year to plant in New Jersey.

Cooler temperatures mean less stress on newly installed plants and lower watering demands than during the heat of summer. And don’t worry about winter! ❄️ The trees, shrubs, and perennials we select are hardy for our climate and well adapted to our cold winters.

And while some may think plant availability disappears in the fall, CLC sources from an extensive network of quality nurseries, giving us excellent availability throughout the planting season. 🌳 🍁

So don’t wait for spring to beautify your life. Fall is a great time to plant! Contact CLC today and let’s get growing. 😀

Want something unique in your landscape? How about a tree from the age of dinosaurs? 🦕🌳

The Ginkgo is one of our favorite trees when we’re looking to add something truly distinctive to a landscape. Its uniquely shaped, fan-like leaves have an almost rubbery feel and turn a brilliant golden yellow in fall. 💛🍂

But what really makes the Ginkgo special is its history. Ginkgo trees have an ancient lineage stretching back hundreds of millions of years, and recognizable Ginkgo leaves have been found in fossil deposits dating to the age of dinosaurs. 🦖

At CLC Landscape Design, we love incorporating unique plants, trees, and ideas that give each landscape its own personality.

Looking for something unique? Whether it’s one extraordinary tree or an entire master landscape plan, let CLC design something special for your home. 🌿✨
