Never Forget — September 11, 2001
Today, we remember the innocent lives that were lost and the incredible courage shown by so many.
We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, first responders, and everyday Americans who ran toward danger while others were trying to escape.
We remember the men and women aboard Flight 93 who, knowing what was happening, stood together and fought back—sacrificing themselves and preventing the plane from reaching its intended target.
And we remember how, in the days that followed, America came together.
For a moment, our differences didn’t seem so important. We were neighbors. We were Americans. We looked after one another.
Twenty-five years later, that’s something worth remembering too.
No matter our differences, where we come from, or what we believe, at the end of the day, we are one nation, and we need to look after each other.
May we never forget those we lost, never forget those who ran toward danger, and never forget what it looks like when Americans stand together.
God bless their families, God bless our first responders, and God bless America. 🇺🇸
