Can it be so? Can one redesign a kitchen within their budget? Can they have what they want? It's up to you!
This kitchen was....ugly...wait...that's not nice!
It was not desired but functioned as a kitchen.
Owner's concern: "I'm selling this home, so I don't want to break the bank but want to attract buyers".
Owner wanted to solve problems:
Top of old cabinets allowed for storage, and she is not a decorator and was never satisfied with what she put up there.
She needed storage, and there was dead space.
What we did:
* Freshened up the whole look with a classic white cabinet which brightened the kitchen.
* We took the cabinets to the ceiling allowing much more space.
* To stay in budget, we re-used her Corian Counters as there was nothing wrong with them, and it tied into the look she sought.
* We added a lazy susan.
* We added a pull-out spice rack in previous dead space.
* We added a backside door on island in a prior dead space area now allowing storage of cumbersome items like an instapot.
* We built around fridge further adding more deep storage.
* We added custom trim on outside of island polishing the look.
* We added soft-close drawers and deep drawers too.
* We added flip-out storage in front on the sink.
* We added a cabinet to accommodate garbage can.
* We added trendy subway tile.
* We added a beautiful Moen pull-down faucet and soap dispenser.
* We added new 2" real wood blinds w/custom trim throughout the home.
* Behind the scenes, we updated plumbing and electrical.
* Dated appliances were replaced with a sleek black stainless grouping.
* Black matte hardware pulled it all together.
All this with a fresh gray background on top of luxury vinyl tile that's waterproof!
