It's all fun and games until it's time to clean the chimney for the upcoming cook stove season. Not pictured: I, elbow-deep in soot.

It is a glorious fall weekend, filled with antics. 🩷 Still doing a lot of fall prep that gets missed with the back and forth over summer, but the dogs and equines are having a great time!

Welcome to the pack!
While Princess Corso prefers to patrol the farm, this new addition is enthusiastic about hiking and will be an additional bear deterrent as we walk.

We had a glorious weekend with Lila home from school (we were missing her brother!), spending time organizing the farm for the next generation's use. Can't wait to have them out more, with their friends! I see a lot of Brunswick stew and camping in their future.

The season ends with old friends I have known in every stage of life. Grateful to have spent another circle with them on the bay. Now our thoughts turn to fall, winter, and cook stove season. ❤️
