As Metro continues to grow, we’re also seeing increasing demand from customers who want to expand their partnerships with us across our footprint. With that growth comes an even greater opportunity to strengthen how we support these important relationships—continuing to provide the quality, responsiveness, and personal service our customers expect while making sure our local teams have the communication, resources, and support they need to be successful.

Lisa brings more than 25 years of elevator industry experience across strategic account management, sales and business development, branch and operational leadership, project management, and executive leadership. Having worked across so many areas of the industry, she brings a unique understanding of what it takes to build strong partnerships from both sides.

In her new role, Lisa will lead Metro’s Strategic Accounts team, working closely with both our customers and local divisions to understand their needs, strengthen communication and alignment, and support continued growth. Her focus will be on delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for our strategic customers across markets while ensuring our local teams have the support and partnership they need to be successful.

Tom joins our team alongside Regional President Rick Jandora, as Vice President of Operations for Metro Elevator Illinois, bringing more than 30 years of elevator industry experience to the role.

From beginning his career as an elevator apprentice to leading field operations, service teams, and complex accounts, Tom has built his career around technical expertise, safety, strong customer relationships, and developing the teams around him.

Tom holds a State of Illinois Elevator Mechanic License, a City of Chicago Supervising Elevator Mechanic License, and is QEI certified. He also serves on the Elevator Safety Review Board for the Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office.

We’re excited to have Tom’s experience and leadership on board as we continue serving customers throughout Illinois.

For more than 150 years, the Roosevelt Hotel has been part of Waco’s story. Originally built in 1872 as the McClelland House Hotel, the historic property was later purchased by Conrad Hilton and became part of Hilton’s early hotel legacy.

Over the decades, the building has continued to serve the Waco community through many chapters of change. After being sold to local investors during the Great Depression, the property was renamed the Roosevelt Hotel in 1934 in honor of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Following a recent elevator modernization, the Roosevelt Hotel selected Metro Elevator Waco as its trusted maintenance partner. The hotel's updated elevator system features fixtures designed to complement the property's historic character, improving reliability and performance while preserving the timeless look and feel that makes the Roosevelt Hotel unique.
