Throughout his career, Troy has built high-performing teams, developed lasting customer relationships, and earned a reputation for delivering exceptional service with integrity and accountability.

Supporting Troy is longtime Metro leader Mike Blaszczyk, whose leadership has helped establish Metro's strong presence throughout Northern California. We’re proud to share the completion of a recent modernization project for JLL at the Principal Financial Group campus in downtown Des Moines!

The Metro Elevator Iowa team modernized two traction elevators, retaining the existing machines while delivering upgraded performance, reliability, and a refreshed experience for building occupants. The project was completed on time thanks to the hard work and collaboration of everyone involved.

Metro Elevator continues to expand its Midwest presence with the addition of Metro Elevator Columbus, bringing independent, locally led elevator service to customers throughout Columbus and across the Buckeye State.

Spearheading the division are Eric Lauterbach and Rick Jandora, whose combined experience spans more than five decades in the industry. Having spent more than 20 years serving the state of Ohio, Eric brings a deep understanding of the market, strong customer relationships, and a practical approach to helping building owners, managers, and other critical stakeholders maintain, modernize, and maximize the performance of their elevator portfolios.

Rick complements Eric’s expertise with nearly 30 years of industry leadership and a proven track record of building high-performing teams across Metro’s presence in the Midwest. His experience helping customers adapt to changing maintenance and modernization needs, combined with his broader leadership throughout the region at large, further strengthens the division’s commitment to delivering responsive service backed by local decision-making.

Earlier in her career, she spent a decade in progressively senior roles spanning sales, field leadership, and product management, including oversight of dispatching systems — giving her a rare blend of commercial, operational, and technical depth.
