RVA Goats

This week we’re clearing an overgrown water retention area for an HOA community. Many HOA’s will spray harsh chemicals to remove the vegetation. Those chemicals don’t only kill the vegetation, they also destroy all the living organisms and wildlife. So we were thrilled that this community chose goats! 🐐👍

Casper, our mostly flighty female goat, escaped into a group of bachelors and got herself pregnant. She’ll be due sometime in February. This group of fellas and Casper are accompanied by Fierra, our newest LGD. Fierra is one of 6 Pyrenees puppies we’ve been raising.

BEFORE & AFTER: This was a side section the homeowner wanted us to graze after finishing their backyard. In these cases, we’ll run a chute from one area to the next. The animals were pretty excited for a whole new buffet 🌿🐐🐑

No project is too small for us. If you’ve got a problem with overgrown vegetation, our goats and sheep can give your yard the manicure it needs.
