It’s that time again!! For this , we are introducing Jack Bevan who is working alongside the Porter Project this summer. 🦺👷‍♂️🚜

“Hi, I’m Jack! I am a rising junior at Virginia Tech where I am studying building construction and real estate.

One of my favorite parts of working at the Porter Project has been the people. The KBS team and subcontractors have been welcoming, hardworking, and knowledgeable. Getting to know everyone on site has been one of the best parts of the experience, making my time with KBS not only a learning opportunity but also a fun way to spend my summer.”

This week, we were invited to the ribbon cutting for , located on Maury Street in Richmond's vibrant Manchester neighborhood. This contemporary, 162-home apartment community is located just off Interstate 95 and represents continued growth and a perfectly positioned addition to a thriving area of the City of Richmond. Happy New Member Monday!! Meet Eli Monson, who is joining us for his second summer internship with KBS. This summer, Eli is working alongside the Redfern Project team, gaining hands-on experience and learning more about the industry.

"Hi, I'm Eli and I am a rising Junior at East Tennessee State University where I am studying real estate and finance.

This summer I'm most excited to watch the Redfern Project nearing completion and seeing the finished result. When I was here last summer, the project was just getting started. Over the winter, I had the opportunity to see its progress, and now it's entering the final stages. Having been involved from the very beginning, it's rewarding to see the entire process come together."

We're thrilled to have him back with us this summer—welcome, Eli!

Diane joined the KBS family in 2015. As a member of our accounting team, she played an essential role in keeping our projects and operations running smoothly. From managing invoices and payments to maintaining accurate job cost coding, and helping ensure timely reporting, her work supported every corner of our business. Most importantly, she brought kindness, experience and a steady presence to our accounting team for nearly 11 years.

Project Update! 🚧
