We’re thrilled to announce that the MARTIN* 3West Wing renovation has earned a 2026 AIA Virginia Merit Award in the Interiors category!

The renovation transformed a traditional, inward-facing executive suite into a light-filled and flexible workplace designed around collaboration, creativity and connection. At its heart is the “Bridge,” a central gathering space inspired by an outdoor courtyard that supports everything from daily teamwork and client presentations to agency events. The USGBC LEED Gold-certified project also prioritizes employee wellness, hospitality and adaptability for the future of work.

Congratulations to our MARTIN* clients and friends, along with the talented design and construction partners who helped bring this project to life.

We look forward to celebrating with this year’s fellow honorees at the Visions for Architecture Gala on November 5th!

An exciting week for 3North as the ribbon cutting for ’s Conservatory Expansion marks the official opening of this transformational project to the public tomorrow. 🌱🦋

This effort represents years of collaboration, visioning, design, coordination, and craftsmanship from an extraordinary team of partners, consultants, builders, Garden leadership, and advocates. We are deeply grateful to have played a role in shaping such a meaningful investment in the Richmond community.

We were honored to celebrate alongside the many collaborators and supporters who helped bring this project to life. From the breathtaking new climate zones to the immersive garden experiences, every detail was designed to inspire curiosity, connection, wellness, and wonder. And yes — the butterflies absolutely stole the show. ✨

Huge congratulations again to the entire project team on this incredible milestone. We cannot wait to see the community experience these beautiful new spaces beginning tomorrow!
