Toni Morrison once said — "We [pass]. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language. That may be the measure of our lives”. The quote was a reflection of how storytelling gives shape and value to our lived existence and experience as human beings.

When The JXN Project thinks of the measure of a woman, it is Dr. Sylvia Bugg and we have deep appreciation to PBS for ensuring that everyone's stories remain told through the Dr. Sylvia M. Bugg Creative Voices Initiative — .

We're honored to share this news. 💙 💙

The Dr. Sylvia M. Bugg Creative Voices Initiative will support filmmakers, producers, editors, and other storytelling professionals who have experienced barriers to entering the media industry.
